Mauricio "Shogun" Rua shared his opinion that he could be a contender for the title
after 2 wins in a row. The record 1-3 for the last 2 years does not confuse him: Mauricio "Shogun" Rua lost to Alexander "The Mauler" Gustafsson by UD, to Chael Sonnen by submission, to Dan "Hendo" Henderson by TKO.
Shogun will fight against Jimi Manuwa in the main card of the UFC Fight Night in Brazil on the 8th of November. I think it will be more test for Poster Boy than an opportunity to climb higher in the ranking for Mauricio Rua.
